Booking

 

We have ONLINE BOOKING. This means you can book, view and amend all of your appointments yourself, fill all forms out digitally and will make it so much easier and straight forward for you to do! You can now book via the links on our website & social media accounts. If you can’t find a suitable appointment please give send us a message and I will do my best to accommodate you. When you book an appointment with By Emily you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of our policies. We take non refundable booking fees to secure your booking, (due to COVID-19 this is currently 50% of all bookings) which are taken off the total amount of your appointment cost. Should you need to reschedule your appointment, your booking fee can be transferable once. For all facial and skincare consultations the amount of the consultation will then be taken off any future facial treatment booked with us.

Cancellation Policy 

​

Please note we hold a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. If you fail to cancel within this period or you're a NO SHOW to your appointment, your card WILL be charged the full amount of your appointment. As you can imagine, appointments are precious and my time is limited, I have taken the time to prepare for your treatment and someone else wanting an appointment could've had that time. If you are running late please call 07963374628 to confirm we still have enough time to carry out your appointment. Please note this cannot be guaranteed and will result in 100% payment of the treatment/treatments booked. Vouchers are also run by the same policy.  If we fail to receive your cancellation fee you will not be allowed to rebook any appointments until this has been paid and you will be asked to pay the full amount of your next appointment upfront at the time of booking. Patch Testing

​

Patch testing 24/48 hours prior to specific treatments is compulsory at By Emily. Patch tests can be booked online or you can message us to arrange. This policy applies even if you have had patch test’s carried out elsewhere as we need to complete it for our own records. During this current time (COVID-19) patch tests for brow tint, brow lamination & LVL can be sent out via post for a small fee. Unfortunately patch testing for lash adhesive cannot be carried out via postal patch testing.

Make Up Bookings

​

To secure your wedding date booking, please confirm the details of your wedding (locations, times, number of guests requiring make up services etc) and I shall confirm I am available for your date and then send  an invoice of £50 for the deposit. All deposits are strictly non-refundable. If cancelled with less than 48 hours before the appointment time you will be required to pay our cancellation fee which is 100% of the final balance for all make up services. This will be for all guests booked in for services. Travel fees apply for trials and on the day.

Please note I do not carry out wedding make up without doing a trial with the bride first.

Payment

We accept Card, PayPal, Bank Transfer and Cash (and Gift Vouchers). Prices are subject to change without notice. All prices reflect knowledge, experience, training, high quality products and standard of service By Emily provides.

Children, Pets & bringing other guests

​

We regret to enforce a no children policy. Due to health & safety regulations and our business insurance, please ensure you make arrangements for childcare when you have an appointment with us. A beauty salon is not a safe place for children as sharp objects, hot tools, large equipment, heavy furniture and chemicals are in regular use. As a business we want to ensure that you are receiving treatments to the highest standard in the most relaxed environment possible. If on arrival to the salon you have children with you, your appointment will be cancelled but you will still be charged. This is to benefit the safety of your child and the salon environment. We would also like to inform you that we do not accept bringing pets a long to your appointment time for similar reasons. Due to the nature of our work, clients need to be still and have their eyes closed and therefore cannot look after pets in the beauty room and also cannot be left outside in the garden as priority needs to be placed on carrying out your treatments to the highest, safest standard. If on arrival to the salon you have a pet with you, your appointment will be cancelled but you will still be charged. This is again to benefit the safety of your pet and the salon environment.

I am unable to accept other guests to sit in on your appointments with you. Due to the size of my beauty room and my business insurance I kindly ask that you attend your appointments alone to offer you the best service possible. Due to COVID-19 this is a STRICT measurement we are following at By Emily. Anyone brought with you will kindly be asked to not come in. This includes any patch test appointments.
